All filmmakers submitting a film to the Cairo Shorts (hereafter known as ‘The Festival’,
‘We’, ‘Us” and ‘Our”), accept and agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions:

The Festival only accepts short Films and Documentaries up to 30min. from all over
the world

The Festival only accepts online registrations and submissions to be assessed Films must be have
an English subtitles

More than one entry may be submitted. Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form

We are only accepting films that have been produced during and after January 2023 at this time

By submitting a film to The Festival, the submitter agrees that the film will be screened in a live theatrical venue during the festival

All film entries selected for the festival grant Cairo International Short Film Festival (CISFF) the rights
to use provided stills, footage, clips, trailers and information from the film for promotional purposes
only

All films submitted must be free from any legal disputes and the filmmaker must have cleared all rights for music and exhibition

The Festival will never share or streaming your Film (s) online without your permissions

Cairo Shorts reserves the right to change any information contained in this document (including Festival dates, venues, events, awards and eligibility requirements) without further notice

Filmmakers will be notified no later than November 15 of their submission status.
